Mindfulness
for Emotional Healing with Dr. Patrice Alvarado, Ph.D.

Mindfulness and acceptance practices are increasingly being integrated into
all forms of physical and emotional healing. In particular, mindfulness practice
can make a difference in one’s experience of stress and feelings of
emotional distress. In this workshop you will learn the basics of mindfulness
and meditations that are designed to reestablish a healing connection to
oneself and one’s relationships.
Patrice Alvarado, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in private practice as
well as a professor in a psychology doctoral program. She has had several
years experience with mindfulness practices and works to promote emotional
healing and wellbeing through the mind/body connection.
