Marsha
McClellan
Marsha McClellan,
ERYT 200, the director of The Yoga Connection received her teacher
certification in the Anusara™ style of yoga from the Health
Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, VA. She has been a student
of yoga since 1995, studying with Doug Keller, Susan Van Nuys,
John Friend, and Betsy Downing. She most recently studied extenstively
with Judith Lasater and Rod Stryker. Marsha encourages her students
to make yoga become a part of their everyday life, have compassionate
self awareness and have fun with yoga. |

Gretchen Nabors
Gretchen Nabors, R.Y.T., has been studying yoga
since 1994. She received her teacher training in the Anusara
style at the Health Advantage Yoga Center. Gretchen has also
studied extensively with Judith Lasater and Rod Stryker as well
as studying other styles of yoga. She incorporates these styles
into her practice. She enjoys sharing the process of becoming
fully alive and discovering our inner greatness through yoga. |

Ely
Razavi
Ely Razavi R.Y.T., has been practicing yoga since 1995. She
received her certification in the Anusara style from The Health
Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, Virginia. She has studied
with Doug Keller, Susan Van Nuys, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Jamie
Allison. Ely believes yoga is the perfect means to achieve inner
peace through creating harmony within the mind, body and soul. |

Kelly Tynes
Kelly Tynes, R.Y.T., C.M.T., is a nationally certified recreational
therapist, massage therapist, and yoga instructor. Kelly specializes
in the Anusara style, studying primarily with Betsy Downing,
Susan Van Nuys, and Doug Keller. Her teaching style is unique
in that she incorporates all knowledge of her past therapies
to aid the students in their personal growth. She shares with
her students a benefit of learning how to live in the present
moment; it truly is a gift. |

Heidy
Makris
Heidy Makris, R.Y.T. started practicing yoga in 2001 in New
Zealand and it quickly became her passion. After experiencing
the vast mental and physical benefits of yoga during and after
her pregnancy, she committed herself to share those benefits
with others. She received her instructor training in the Anusara
style of yoga at the Health Advantage Yoga Center under Doug
Keller and Susan Van Nuys. Heidy has found that the regular
practice of yoga is a wonderful method for developing physical,
emotional and spiritual health. |

Bei
Caswell
Bei Caswell R.Y. T., began her yoga journey in 2003 and immediately
fell in love with yoga. She recently completed her Vinyasa style
teacher training at Hot Yoga in Washington DC. She also practices
Anusara Yoga, Bikram Yoga. Bei is continuing her study of Vinyasa
style yoga at Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC. She believes yoga
is not about a perfect asana, but rather a method to transform
your mind and body from the inside out. |

Shernita
Parker
Shernita Parker began practicing yoga in 2001 to find relief
from lower back pain caused by pregnancy, but quickly found
it offered so many benefits. As her own interest in yoga grew
and she became more committed to her practice, she knew she
wanted to share her enthusiasm and dedication to yoga with others.
Shernita is currently enrolled in the teacher training program
at Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, VA and is ecstatic
at how this opportunity is deepening her own practice. Shernita
believes yoga is the perfect tool to help you deal with life’s
challenges and more fully experience life’s joy. |
