Stretches for Athletes with Kelly Tynes

Athletes can benefit from yoga by learning how to use the body in a more efficient way to improve athletic performance. Yoga is an effective way to both stretch and strengthen the body. Learn poses for physical balance, increasing mental alertness, and how to help prevent injuries and discomforts while training. Join us in a workshop dedicated to all athletes – serious and the not so serious.
Yoga Nidra with Janet Kim (RYT 500)

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that is rapidly gaining popularity in the West. It is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. Janet’s voice will systematically guide you to explore your physical body, then move through specific points within the body. Through setting intentions in Yoga Nidra, we can make positive, lasting change in our lives!
Janet is a Certified Anusara® Yoga Instructor. Janet began her study and practice of Hatha Yoga in 1972. She has taught yoga since 1987 and completed the HAYC teacher training in 1995.
